So I took a YETI cooler… and turned it into a whole event.
The Problem:
YETI is known for durable, high quality products, but the category can feel very functional and same across the board. Most people are buying the same coolers, the same cups, and using them the same way.
The challenge was finding a way to make something practical feel personal and give people a reason to connect with the brand beyond just utility.
The Goal
Get people to stop just buying YETI and start owning it.
By making customization feel fun, visible, and worth sharing, the campaign was designed to drive engagement, spark interaction, and build a stronger connection between people and the brand.
The Idea:
Make it yours. Literally.
I built a campaign around turning customization into the main event, not just a feature. Names, colors, teams, trips, game days. The idea was simple. If people can make it theirs, they care more.
From there, I created a series of social ads that dropped the product into real moments and let personalization lead. Each one shows how something functional can actually feel like yours.
